JOB REF: DN0242

ABOUT THE FAMILY
A busy, professional family based in West London are looking for a nurturing and experienced nanny to care for their baby boy, born in August 2025.

B7M is a smiley and social baby who enjoys interacting with other people and thrives on stimulation throughout the day. He is therefore looking for a nanny who can keep him busy and engaged through age appropriate activities at home and out and about. He is currently in a strong routine and the family are looking for someone confident to support this and keep things running like clockwork.

The family are looking for a nanny who will confidently take sole charge of the baby once mum returns to work in June. Mum will continue to work from home on a regular basis but has clear boundaries around this setup and wants a nanny that feels comfortable running the show independently and proactively as she won’t be able to step-in throughout the day.

The ideal nanny will be developmentally focused and enjoy planning stimulating days, arranging playdates, and taking the baby to classes such as music groups, swimming sessions, and local activities. Nature and fresh air are important to them and there is plenty to do in the local area so someone who enjoys getting out and about would be a great fit.

Finally, we are looking for a nanny who brings a nurturing and guiding presence to the household — someone experienced and confident who can support mum with advice when needed and build a long-term relationship with the family.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sole-charge childcare: Providing attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care for the baby throughout the day.

  • Routine management: Following the baby’s established feeding, sleep, and daily routines to ensure consistency and wellbeing.

  • Age-appropriate activities: Planning engaging activities that support development, including singing, sensory play, outdoor time, and social interaction.

  • Outings and classes: Proactively organising trips to local baby groups, music classes, swimming sessions, and playdates.

  • Weaning support: Preparing healthy meals for the baby and supporting the weaning process.

  • Nursery duties: Managing all baby-related duties, including laundry, tidying toys and play areas, and keeping the nursery organised (the family employ a long-standing cleaner for the home).

  • Communication with parents: Keeping parents updated on the baby’s day, milestones, and development through open and collaborative communication.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for a loving and proactive nanny who is:

  • Experienced with babies: Confident in caring for infants and knowledgeable about early developmental stages and routines.

  • Warm and nurturing: Naturally affectionate, caring, and patient, with a genuine love for working with young children.

  • Development-focused: Passionate about supporting early learning through stimulating activities and interaction.

  • Proactive and organised: Able to plan engaging days, organise classes and outings, and take initiative in managing the baby’s routine.

  • Supportive and confident: An experienced presence who can offer gentle guidance and build a strong relationship with both parents and child.

  • Safety-conscious: Prioritises the baby’s wellbeing at all times and maintains a safe environment.

  • Looking for a long-term position: Someone who is committed to building a lasting relationship with the family.

  • Open to travel: The family travel for both business and leisure and would love a nanny who is keen to accompany them.

  • Language skills a bonus: Spanish speakers would be particularly encouraged to apply, though this is not essential.

PERKS & BENEFITS

  • Salary: £52,000–£55,000 gross per year

  • Holiday: 50/50 arrangement

  • Pets: None

  • Driving: Not required

  • Travel: Yes - to Europe & beyond.
