During her two years working at a small nursery in Yorkshire, Candidate 006’s key duties included monitoring developmental milestones, planning and executing age appropriate activities, communicating with parents and managing important documents, such as two-year checks. In addition, she has developed a particular interest in supporting children who have additional needs and worked closely with the nursery SENCO to ensure these children received targeted care. Through this passion, she has learned that she finds working one-to-one with children the most rewarding aspect of the role, hence her ambition to transition into nannying. Candidate 006 also works with a range of patients (from babies to the elderly) at a local hospital, which speaks to her caring nature. Her duties have been numerous and include supporting new mothers on maternity wards, organising and restocking store rooms, and keeping documents up-to date.

Candidate 006’s approach stems from her work in nursery classrooms. She enjoys spending quality time with children working with them on all sorts of activities.
Has covered all areas of baby and toddler care and feels confident with sleep routines, bottle feeding and weaning.
Recently completed her Level 3 which has bolstered her theoretical knowledge (e.g. conscious of allergens, developmental milestones etc.)
Has prepared food for the children at the nursery and when at home, she enjoys cooking healthy comfort food from scratch. Has a keen interest in baking and would like to share this with the children she cares for by baking along side them.
